Description
Designed for heavy industrial environments, the IGS-4215-4UP4T2S is an industrial-grade, DIN-rail L2/L4 Managed Gigabit PoE+ Switch family. Its intelligent PLANET PoE functions improve the availability of critical business applications.
The switch offers IPv6/IPv4 dual-stack management and a built-in L2/L4 Gigabit switching engine. It includes four 10/100/1000BASE-T ports with 36-watt 802.3at PoE+, four additional Gigabit copper ports and two 100/1000BASE-X SFP fibre slots for data and video uplinks. The IGS-4215-4UP4T2S operates reliably, stably and quietly in harsh environments without compromising performance. Housed in a rugged IP30 metal enclosure, it provides a total power budget of up to 144 watts for various PoE applications and operates at temperatures from -40 to 75°C.
The IGS-4215-4UP4T2S supports SSHv2 and TLSv1.2 for strong protection against advanced threats. Its comprehensive cybersecurity features include DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, dynamic ARP Inspection Protection, 02.1x port-based network access control, RADIUS and TACACS+ user account management, and SNMPv3 authentication.
The IGS-4215-4UP4T2S supports redundant ring technology with rapid self-recovery to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. It integrates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) and Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) into customer networks to improve reliability and uptime across varied environments.
