Description
The PLANET ICS-3100T Series connects legacy RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 devices to Industrial Ethernet and IIoT networks. It extends communication distances, links field devices to IP networks and protects existing serial equipment investments, enabling digitalisation without replacing current devices or software.
With MQTT Client and built-in MQTT Broker support, the ICS-3100T Series collects data from PLCs, RTUs, sensors and controllers via RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, converts it to MQTT and publishes it to SCADA, MES, cloud or third-party MQTT platforms. Its embedded broker also supports local device data exchange without an external broker.
The ICS-3100T Series supports remote management via web interfaces, SNMP and the Windows-based VCOM Utility. Security features include HTTPS, certificate management, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication and Secure Boot, while Event Log, Syslog, SNMP Trap and Relay Alarm functions simplify maintenance and improve reliability.
