Description
The PLANET ICS-3200T Series bridges legacy RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 devices with Industrial Ethernet and IIoT networks. It integrates field devices with IP-based systems, extends communication distances and protects existing serial equipment investments. This gives factories, transport systems, utilities and building automation applications a practical migration path to digital industrial environments without replacing current devices or software.
The ICS-3200T Series enhances serial gateway functions with MQTT Client and built-in MQTT Broker support. It collects data from PLCs, RTUs, sensors and controllers via RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, converts it to MQTT messages and publishes it to SCADA, MES, cloud services or third-party MQTT servers. Its embedded broker also supports local data exchange without an external broker, simplifying Industrial IoT and edge deployments.
The ICS-3200T Series supports TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP Client, Virtual COM, RFC2217, Telnet Server, Pair Connection and Modbus Converter Server/Client modes. These options enable flexible industrial connectivity and integrate legacy serial devices into Ethernet networks for remote access, monitoring, configuration and management.
