Description
The Ourten OT-10T1L-CON SPE Converter extends Ethernet connectivity to edge devices over a single twisted-pair cable.
Built on 10BASE-T1L Single Pair Ethernet technology, it supports Ethernet transmission up to 1,000 meters, making it well suited for industrial automation, building automation, elevator systems, smart sensors, and retrofit projects where traditional Ethernet cabling is difficult or costly.
Compared with conventional fieldbus or multi-wire systems, SPE-T1L brings standard Ethernet directly to field-level devices. This reduces reliance on gateways, simplifies network architecture, and makes it easier to integrate data from sensors, controllers, and other edge devices.
The adapter supports point-to-point Ethernet communication, allowing standard Ethernet devices to connect through a single twisted-pair cable.
The Ourten OT-10T1L-CON compact design fits control cabinets, equipment rooms, or locations near field devices, and it is especially useful for upgrading legacy systems while retaining existing cabling.
