Description

The PLANET SPM-D05/D10 Series comprises DIN-rail multi-circuit power meters for centralised monitoring. It includes four models: the 5-circuit SPM-D05 and SPM-D05E, and the 10-circuit SPM-D10 and SPM-D10E. Combining electrical measurement, power-quality analysis, data logging and Modbus communication in one compact unit reduces space, wiring and deployment costs for energy management.

The SPM-D05 and SPM-D05E support five circuits for smaller distribution panels and lighter monitoring needs. The SPM-D10 and SPM-D10E support ten circuits, with two independent main circuits and up to 24 single-phase branch circuits or 8 three-phase branch circuits. Electrically isolated upper and lower current-input groups enable one meter to monitor two independent power systems.

Each set of three current inputs can be configured for 1P2W, 1P3W, 3P3W or 3P4W systems to suit the connected load. For single-phase branch measurement, each current input can be assigned to its corresponding voltage phase. This flexibility accommodates mixed single- and three-phase loads and simplifies load balancing across power distribution environments.

Using True RMS measurement at 256 points per cycle, the SPM-D05/D10 Series delivers reliable readings across varied electrical loads. It achieves 0.2% voltage and current accuracy and Class 0.5S active and reactive energy accuracy, supporting energy monitoring, electricity cost allocation and power-quality management.
