M-7000/I-7000 Series Modbus RTU Remote I/O Modules

The ICP DAS M-7000 series of remote I/O modules are designed for use in PC based industrial applications. This series is ideal for monitoring, control and automation of most mechanical or electrical equipment. The ICP DAS M-7000 series can be used directly with a variety of sensors including thermocouples, RTD sensors, pressure, flow, voltage, current and TTL compatible digital signals.

The ICP DAS M-7000 uses Modbus RTU interface to communicate with HMI or SCADA software. Drivers are also available for other programming environments, such as Visual Basic.Net, DASYLAB, InduSoft, Visual C# and LabView. Each M-7000 remote I/O module will require an RS-232/RS-485 or USB/485 converter to interface with a PC serial port.

The M-7000 series is a family of network data acquisition and control modules that support Modbus RTU and DCON protocols. With the Modbus RTU protocol, it can easily communicate with most popular SCADA/ HMI software and PLC. It has the same form factor as the ICP DAS I-7000 series.

Configuration utility software is available for a fast and easy setup using a Windows based PC with an RS-232 or USB port. The ICP DAS M-7000 series also comes with software libraries and demo programs that allow users to seamlessly develop programs via Windows, Linux and DOS operating systems.
