Description

The ICP DAS The USB-2255-64 is USB 2.0 I/O module featuring 32 digital input channels and 16 digital output channels. All digital input channels can operate as 32-bit counters and support selectable sink or source configurations via wiring. LED indicators are provided to display the status of each digital channel.

The module is equipped with a dual watchdog mechanism with configurable power-on values and safe values, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.

Users can configure and test USB-2255-64 directly and easily without any coding via the ICP DAS USB I/O utility. A user-friendly API library is available for users to quickly develop their (VB/C++/C#.NET/VB.NET/LabVIEW) applications.

The modules support dual power inputs (+10 to +30 VDC) for enhanced redundancy. If one source becomes inactive or is interrupted, the other immediately takes over to ensure uninterrupted operation in critical environments. The modules can operate as normal with only a single power source. (If not using the USB hub function, the module can be powered via a USB 2.0 port.)
